Our Accomplishments

Giving Music a Second Life

Music programs are often the first thing to lose funding when school budgets tighten. In Drexel, the Foundation received a donation of four used instruments. Rather than simply pass them along as-is, we had each one professionally repaired and restored, then gave them directly to the school’s music program.

The result: students have fully working instruments in their hands, and music education continues without interruption.

Standing With a Family in Crisis

When tragedy strikes, it rarely waits for a convenient time. A local family faced exactly that when their household’s provider was seriously injured in an accident. The Limestone Foundation stepped in, organizing and running a GoFundMe campaign on the family’s behalf, and providing ongoing support throughout their recovery.

No family should have to face a crisis like this alone. This is the kind of direct, immediate support the Foundation exists to provide.

Community Impact

Beyond our named projects, The Limestone Foundation has partnered with local businesses and community organizations to extend support further than we could alone, helping fund anti-human-trafficking and veterans’ initiatives through the Sapps Brothers fundraiser, and supporting the Lions Club’s work providing corrective eyewear to those in need.
